Patient ConsultationWhen you refer patients who are interested in dental implants as a treatment option, we will contact them directly to arrange a convenient appointment for one hour consultation with one of our team.
This discussion is then supported by a written and itemised treatment plan which is presented and discussed with your patient. |
Surgical PhaseOnce we have received signed consent from the patient to proceed with treatment, appointments will be mutually agreed between the patient and our team for the surgical phases.
We follow stringent cross infection protocols to achieve the highest standards of sterility and surgical protocol in our dedicated implant surgery. Our team is fully trained in surgical techniques and procedures. Patients are reassured, prepared for surgery and sedated, if appropriate and requested, using oral or intravenous conscious sedation and treated in the surgery. Following recovery, necessary radiographs are taken and the patient is discharged to their escort for their journey home. Contact will be made with the patient the following day to confirm that the patient is comfortable and to arrange a review appointment in 2 weeks. The Implant SystemOur implant system of choice varies according to the patients individual requirements. We will confirm with you the system we have selected to use for each case. Assisting in SurgeryYou may wish to and are welcome to observe the surgical phase, provided this meets the requirements of normal surgical protocol. Where appropriate, you may wish and are welcome to assist in the surgical procedure. |
The clinician will listen carefully to your patients needs and then explore options open to your patients: including, the process, timings, costs and the on-going maintenance.
All compliance issues and collection of fees will be taken care of by us, for the phases of treatment we undertake.
